This ’inban’ printed bone china sake bottle is from the early to mid-Meiji era (around 1870 - 1900). In this early period of the 'inban' product, they used a paper pattern to print the pieces. I have seen the exact same patterned piece in a book. The cranes spread their wings to a sky awash with clouds. The base white is slightly blueish. There is a signature on the bottom, which says '大井 (Ohi)' which is a name for a bar or sake producer, I assume.
I have cleaned as much as I can, but I recommend you use it as a flower vase or for similar purposes.
Please note that there are a few little cracks at the bottom of its body that occurred when it is processed. Also, another crack at the bottom corner, but they do not affect using it as a water container.
