SOMOC

SOMOC derives its name from the Japanese phrase "草木" (Soumoku), inspired by the season called "草木萌動 (Soumoku Mebae-izuru)". In traditional Japanese culture, the year is divided into 72 micro-seasons, each lasting about five days. "草木萌動 (Soumoku Mebae-izuru)" marks the time around late February when trees and plants begin to bud, symbolizing new beginnings and the subtle emergence of life.

Just like this season, SOMOC embodies the essence of quiet transformation and delicate beauty. We aim to bring new life and vibrant colors into your world through our curated collection of Japanese antiques and traditional objects.
