These are deadstocks of tableware probably made for export during the Showa period. The petal-shaped figure is dainty without unnecessary decorations. At the Japanese dining table, several small dishes like this one are used to serve a variety of side dishes. For example, pickled vegetables and pickled plums. If utilized at your table, they could be used to hold dipping sauces, for example. What would you put in them?

For our customers in Canada:
