It appears to be relatively recent for a vintage. The pretty small flowers are painted in the fishnet (a motif of fortune) all over the vessel. This is a true gem of gorgeous design and fine handwork. The entire bottle is decorated with a pattern, but the way the blank space is left is superb, giving it a pretty and light impression without being gaudy. Despite its generous shape, it is very light and easy to hold. It is rare to find a similar piece with such a carefully drawn pattern.
Sipping sake with this masterpiece must be the best!
